The company's most recent success is an enormously popular age-qualified, resort community in historic Bucks County, The Villas at Shady Brook. Shady Brook was awarded Community of the Year by the Bucks and Montgomery County Homebuilders Association. The Villas at Shady Brook builds on the success of The Villas of Flowers Mill, an exceptional age-qualified community that was honored by the Bucks and Montgomery County Homebuilders Association with seven Pinnacle Awards, including Community of the Year. On the heels of that outstanding achievement came an enchanting waterfront age-qualified community called The Villas at Riverview, which featured views of the scenic Delaware River. A recent commercial success is The Shoppes at Flowers Mill, a premier shopping complex that features many prominent retailers. Family Tradition.

John J. McGrath founder and president of McGrath Homes has strong roots in Bucks County, having grown up in Langhorne. John's builder-developer lineage runs deep, dating back to his grandfather who was a successful architect in the Philadelphia area. The tradition continues with John's son, John J. McGrath III who has also joined the ranks of the corporation serving as Vice President. Patrick V. Flanagan, McGrath's Senior V.P., has extensive experience in land acquisition, residential development and commercial construction and has lived in Bucks County for 35 years.
